Albert Nguyen is a Tiohtià:ke (Montreal) based art director and designer. With over 14 years experience, he specializes in art direction, merchandise design and branding. Born and raised in Montreal, he completed his studies at Concordia University.
Since 2017 Albert has had his own studio practice, working with clients such as adidas, Aldo, Frank and Oak, Nike, Patta, SSENSE, among many others. Albert’s unorthodox design style and out of the box ideas have allowed him to work with some of the biggest brands in Canada and North America.
Prior to starting his freelance practice Albert was art director at Little Burgundy shoes, where he was in charge of their retail in-store design, ecommerce and bi-annual print magazine.
In addition to his commercial work, Albert has committed a large part of his design practice to giving back to his community and actively works on design projects with a socially conscious mission. Most recently he has designed merchandise for charities and organizations committed to supporting and amplifying BIPOC artists, and campaigns to support anti-racism efforts in Montreal and Quebec.
Albert is currently the Art Director for Browns Shoes, a Canadian footwear retailer which holds more than 70 across the country.
