For the second drop of the Double Dribble 22-23 season, we collaborated with Akomi, American brand (and production house), a capsule collection which told the story of immigration and basketball. To make it even more special, we released in Salt Lake City, Utah, during this year's All Star Game Weekend festivities.
The ONE DREAM capsule collection consisted a 280gsm double face cotton tshirt with water based screen printing. A black 460gsm hoodie adorned with the ONE DREAM branding and a quote from renowned poet, Rupi Kapur. To round off the collection we created a high quality basketball and high cotton content socks.
Over the course of 3 days, we hosted with Sky's The Limit, a free basketball camp for refugee kids to give them access to basketball training during the All Star weekend. Our ONE DREAM pop up shop spanned over 2 days and 2 nights worth of parties for the local Salt Lake City communities.
All graphic design for clothing and promotional design were executed by Albert Nguyen. The clothing design and production by Gaby Okito, founder of Akomi. The events were managed and coordinated by our Project Manager, Shane Long.
